A Note from the President

Thank you for visiting our Web site. It has been substantially revamped this year, with new features described below.

If you are new to our community, you might not realize that the Chagrin Falls Booster Club is different from typical “Booster Clubs.” While these other organizations normally focus their efforts exclusively on athletic programs, our activities are intended to benefit both the academic and athletic efforts of Chagrin Falls students. The Booster Club reinvests every dollar we raise for the benefit of our students and the school district.

With your support, we have donated more than $1.4 million to assist in the operation of educational and athletic programs throughout the Chagrin Falls School District. Over the last nine years, the Booster Club has donated over $105,000 to assist in financial support for academic programs at all grade levels, provided $ 73,000 in college scholarships to graduating seniors and has contributed over $203,000 to the operating budget of the District’s Athletic Department. Our contributions to the Athletic Department have permitted the School District to retain a full-time trainer to safeguard the health and safety of our students on the athletic fields. Last year alone the Booster Club responded to over $ 59,000 in annual appropriation requests, from Gurney Elementary, the Intermediate School, the Middle School and the High School, with over $ 43,000 in appropriations.

We hope that this Web site will facilitate communication between the Booster Club and its members. Through this site, we will keep you abreast of our activities and invite you to participate. This site includes links to the Club’s Officers and Committee Chairs. Please feel free to contact us with your comments, questions, criticisms, and suggestions. The site now enables you to pay online for your membership dues, for our paid events such as the Scholarship Dinner Dance and Golf Outing, and for extra monetary contributions you might want to make. It also incorporates PayPal, which you can use to ensure that your online payments are secure.
